In a website article published on November 12, 2007, "And Now It’s Pakistan…", we commented on the section addressing Iraq, "In the aftermath of an American withdrawal, we believe the country will fractionate along ethnic lines and come under the hegemony of Iran who is the benefactor and supplier of Shiite militias…". In our critique of the President's foreign policy published on January 7, 2010, we reiterated our concerns about the power vacuum in Iraq that would be left by the withdrawal of American troops and the adverse result of an Iraqi civil war that would find an Iranian backed Shiite takeover of that country, likely headed by Iran's proxy and U.S. nemesis , Muqtada al-Sadr.
