In this Comment, I want to update the outlook for the longer term. In my previous Sea Change and Investment Update letters, I have called attention to the long term issues that we as a nation confront beyond the current economic cycle. These important issues will determine future levels and durability of economic prosperity which ultimately will establish the investment climate we will face.
