Survey: Baltimore 3rd Best City To Find Jobs

BALTIMORE -- National numbers concerning unemployment don't look too promising, but the greater Baltimore area may be the perfect place for those looking for a job, according to a recent survey.

Dan Bean, who has been out of a job for 16 months, said the job search process he's been dealing with has been intense.

"Without the necessary skills at my age, it's rather difficult for someone to be willing to give me an honest opportunity," he said.

But on Friday, he got his chance. He was able to land a job helping with Baltimore city's $66 million project for public housing improvements -- a major sign, according to Mayor Sheila Dixon, that the job market in the area is improving every day
