Dell, double-dip recession, economic volatility, European markets, HP, manufacturing, recession, technology, Wall StreetVolatility returned to Wall Street Thursday (8/18) on the heels of weakness in overseas markets and growing concern about slipping into recession. The reaction to a European slowdown in 2Q was exacerbated by the decidedly poor Mid-Atlantic manufacturing data and the diminishing near-term and intermediate outlook for technology companies like Dell and HP.
