About Anirban Basu
Anirban Basu, Executive Vice President of SPG Trend Advisors, is an economist, educator and attorney and has extensive experience in economic and community development. His clients include Fortune 500 companies and large non-profit organizations. He is also currently Chairman and CEO of Sage Policy Group, Inc., an economic and policy consulting
Anirban holds a J.D. from the University Of Maryland School Of Law, a M.A. in mathematical economics from the University of Maryland and a Master’s Degree in Public Policy (MPP) from the Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University.
Anirban is the author of Maryland: Old Line to New Prosperity, a historical treatment of the region’s economic development.
